Great little campground across from a wonderful walk. There is a little store, with nice people running it, that has drinks and souvenirs but no ice and bigger meal items. I heard cows and owls at night and some work/logging trucks during the day. Lots of birds! Kern River is 30 minutes away. The new pit toilets in back of the campground does not seem to function well (bugs and smell) during the day but the old pit toilets are still there and are more acceptable. I will return.

Extraordinary campground with an amazing atmosphere and great camp hosts! The yurts are comfortable and spacious. The gift shop is a great spot to grab a few camp necessities and unique trinkets. A new pit toilet was recently installed and it's well designed. For individuals who need ADA wheelchair access: Some of the yurt ramps need a little improvement so that the ramp base fully touches the ground for smooth wheelchair access. Contact ahead of time to ensure the accessibility meets your needs. I think yurt site 2 is the best for wheelchair access ( which is already marked for ADA). The Trail of 100 Giants across the street is fantastic for wheelchair access as well. Highly recommend! Hope y'all have fun out there!

As frequent visitors to Trail of 100 Giants, we always stop by the Redwood Meadow Campground. Darin and his wife Michell are great hosts and very knowledgeable of the surrounding area. If you are lucky enough to be in the area make sure and say hello to a couple of Sequoias nicest people.

This place is amazing! The camp host and his wife are the best!!! They are very friendly and make everyone feel welcome. The host was very knowledgeable, explained everything throughly, and answered any questions we had. We felt really safe in this campground. We truly loved this place will definitely keep going back.

We won’t Be back or recommend this campground
