If any of the Walker Mine Campground Wall tents are available, don’t hesitate to book. You will have no regrets. The location is ideal. Close enough to Redding that you can get to and from easily, but far enough that you feel like you’re getting way from the hustle and bustle. The area is quiet, beautiful and peaceful. The sunset, sunrise and starry skies are stunning as there is no light pollutio... If any of the Walker Mine Campground Wall tents are available, don’t hesitate to book. You will have no regrets. The location is ideal. Close enough to Redding that you can get to and from easily, but far enough that you feel like you’re getting way from the hustle and bustle. The area is quiet, beautiful and peaceful. The sunset, sunrise and starry skies are stunning as there is no light pollution. I wished I had more time to explore the trails that are surrounding the Campsite. The wall tent itself has everything I needed. Comfy bed and propane heat on demand. Greg was a great host. He was available at any time if I had a question. The Ramsey family has put a lot of thoughts into the way they stocked the wall tent and nailed it. Treat yourself and stay a night or two at the Walker Mine Campground, you won’t regret it. Thank you Rita, Fairbanks AK

Greg and Teresa are absolutely awesome! My family and I camp quite often in all conditions and it was a great change of pace and experience to camp here at Walker Mine. We all felt spoiled by the set up of the campsite, attention to detail in the presentation, and the hospitality of Greg and Teresa. Upon arrival everything that we needed to camp was set up and ready for use...I was not expecting... Greg and Teresa are absolutely awesome! My family and I camp quite often in all conditions and it was a great change of pace and experience to camp here at Walker Mine. We all felt spoiled by the set up of the campsite, attention to detail in the presentation, and the hospitality of Greg and Teresa. Upon arrival everything that we needed to camp was set up and ready for use...I was not expecting that. The tent and campsite were clean and well thought out. The property is safe, so I had no hesitation at leaving our belongings during the day to go adventure. This was such a great experience, I'm going back again! Thank you Greg and Teresa!
