I personally really like this place. Clean toilets, no showers or hookups. Nice picnic tables, bbqs and fire pits. Good fishing. No phone/wifi reception.

This is a public campground with a publicly accessible road from the gravel road that leads from highway 97 to Tenant/Bray. There is access from the east side as well which is public though gravel. This is a lovely quiet spot, even in dry years, when there is more marsh than lake. There are four newer campsites with pit toilet, no water. Each is spacious and level, right next to the water. I've been there several times and was usually the only person. I haven't been there in winter when I suppose the roads would be harder to access.

Picture done from a 20yr old sunset photo. Y'all should have seen the lake/campground before it was "improved". My family has been camping there since the 50's. While it's still amazing & I can't wait to go back. It will never be as beautiful as it once was.

Beautiful place to stumble upon during the winter when there wasn't anyone around and the lake was frozen. Skipping rocks on a frozen lake is pretty cool. We will be back this summer. There's three or four docks that stick out into the lake that would be great fishing spots when it warms up
