Small but charming campground. Sleep under large redwoods and enjoy close access to many nearby trails. This place is best for the camper who did not reserve a spot. It’s also close to the road so you will hear cars. Lastly there is no cell service in this spot which is not a bad thing.

Great little disbursed campground in the redwoods with grills and restrooms. There is a little creek with tadpoles and small crawfish for the kids to see. Some of the sites are very close to road, which is loud and a bit undesirable at night, but it’s an excellent option in the area on the way to the Mendo coast. Our group was meant to be camping further east but the Dixie fire scuppered that and we had to make an impromptu plan to head to the coast. Luckily there was space here at the height of summer 2021. Restrooms are cleaned in the mornings and have toilet paper. No plumbing or tap water, no cell service. Grills at every site.

This is an absolutely beautiful campsite. The river is right there with a well kept restroom available. No water available though. Sadly the logging trucks hate campers and drive all night some nights and some make sure to hit the airbrakes and the lane departure warning ridges. So no sleep some nights. All the camp sites have a fire pit. Too bad they can't have quiet hours from the logging trucks... This is an absolutely beautiful campsite. We rolled in after dark, set up camp and enjoyed a fire under the redwood silhouettes. Woke up to a beautiful little campground that was very well maintained. Fun spot to camp especially for a quick nights rest and ready to hit the coast the next morning.
