About Pepperdine Equestrian Campground

The campsites are mostly shaded and enjoy serene surroundings and are equiped with 12' X 12' metal corrals. A short trail runs over to the start of the Summit Trail where it heads south into the South Warner Wilderness.  No wilderness permits are required however, if you plan to use a camp or backpack stove or charcoal barbeque or have a campfire outside the developed campground, you will need a current California Campfire Permit.

Nestled in California's picturesque landscape, Pepperdine Equestrian Campground offers a unique camping experience tailored for horse enthusiasts and those seeking a peaceful retreat into nature. This public campground provides the perfect setting for travelers who want to combine their love of RVing with equestrian activities, making it an ideal destination for families, couples, and groups looking for something beyond the typical campground experience.

The campground's primary draw is its focus on accommodating guests with horses, offering dedicated facilities and spacious sites designed with equestrian visitors in mind. Whether you're traveling with your own horses or simply want to enjoy a location that celebrates the equestrian lifestyle, this campground creates a welcoming atmosphere that sets it apart from standard RV parks. The emphasis on horses means you'll find fellow travelers who share similar interests, creating a natural community feel among guests.

The proximity to both rural areas and more developed regions gives you flexibility in planning day trips and adventures. For those interested in equestrian pursuits, the presence of other horse enthusiasts at the campground can lead to group rides, trail exploring, and shared experiences that enhance your stay.
