Very clean, quiet, nice campground. Family friendly, has kids' playgrounds. Nice small parks to walk around. Laundry facility, restaurant nearby. The cons for me were that the majority of campsites face away from the water and they do not offer monthly rates, with a minimum of 2 months. The Jacuzzi had some issues, but they fixed it; the water in the pool looked a bit cloudy. Overall, it's a beautiful campsite, pricey but nice.

We stayed at Launch Pointe in Lake Elsinore the weekend of 12/5/2025 with family and friends, renting four yurts total. My family stayed in the Lodge Yurt, which is located closest to the Bait & Tackle shop. There were several things we appreciated about the Lodge Yurt. The Lodge Yurt was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate four adults and a baby. The heater and A/C worked well, having a fridge was convenient, and we appreciated that clean linens and towels were provided—these details showed that care is put into the accommodations. That said, the pull-out couch was extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. There was also an issue with the Rock ’n’ Roll Yurt: the lighting was very inadequate. It was so dim that it was difficult to see inside, even during the evening, and we ultimately had to rely on headlamps just to move around comfortably. This made the space impractical, particularly for families and young toddlers. Unfortunately, our overall experience fell short of expectations due to factors outside the accommodations themselves—primarily noise. We had hoped for a relaxing weekend getaway, but each night we slept fewer than 6 hours. The proximity of the Lodge Yurt to the Bait & Tackle shop resulted in significant late-night noise from foot traffic, along with nearby road noise. The yurts also offer very little sound insulation, making it difficult to rest once the area became active. The most challenging part of the stay occurred on the second night when a live concert played from approximately 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., featuring rock/heavy metal music. The volume was extremely loud, and while we were understanding at first, the prolonged noise made it difficult to relax, have conversations, or rest. We had elderly family members who struggled to hear anything other than the music, and our young children—who normally go to bed around 7 p.m.—were unable to sleep until much later due to the noise. This made the evening especially difficult for our group. Anyone with small kids knows that overtired children are not exactly part of a “relaxing getaway.” One highlight of the stay was the nearby parks and playgrounds, which were excellent for children and something we genuinely enjoyed during the daytime. Had we known in advance about the concert and the level of noise associated with staying so close to the Bait and Tackle shop, we would have planned differently or selected a different location. Unfortunately, there was no disclaimer or advance notice during booking, which left us unprepared for what became a disruptive weekend. Overall, I wouldn’t return and can’t recommend this location unless you’re fully prepared for significant noise. Maybe we came on the wrong weekend, but there absolutely should have been a disclaimer during booking about concerts and late-night activity - especially for guests staying so close to the Bait and Tackle shop. If peace and quiet is what you’re after, this may not be the place.

My Husband and I took a mini vacation at Launch Pointe and it was wonderful. That staff was top notch and extremely helpful. We stayed 3 nights in one of the vintage trailers which was well equipped and comfortable. The area was serene, well maintained and safe. We really didn't want to leave. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable

Absolutely beautiful! Especially at night. You see ALL the stars! Live music at the Bobber was cool. We stayed for 2 weeks and the water pressure sucks - whether it's their shower or your own...
