Tucked away alllllll the way to the back is this hidden little gem of a park. Now I'm just reviewing the park on this since me and our 1 year old like to go to ALL of them. It's got a little pond with ducks that you can feed. Saw some people fishing with their Littles at the pond as well. The park is nice. 2 things I wish it had is #1 shade and #2 rubber mats instead of the bark.... I can't stand... Tucked away alllllll the way to the back is this hidden little gem of a park. I can't stand the bark, but thats not stopping us from playing. I saw no trash and the equipment is well maintained which is a plus. We visit at least once a week. There is construction at the beginning of the park as you come in as they are upgrading the RV/Camping areas which is a LONG time coming but a plus for the community and our visitors.

It's now 2025, so I thought it was time to re-review this park. In the years since my review, positive changes have been made. There is more care being given to cleanup & maintain the park again. Though lots of trees & park equipment are gone, it leaves open space to work with in the future. It also features the only dump station I know of in Lompoc, so that's very helpful. Thankfully without people there to harass them, it seems the duck population is coming back.

We enjoy walking the track in the mornings and evenings as well. The distance markers are great way to gage your walk/ run. It's just a hair under a mile around the loop. Very picturesque with the ducks around the pond as well. There are an abundance of RV sites with electrical hook ups and shower facilities as well. Great place to spend the day with friends and family too for BBQ. Horse shoe pits... We enjoy walking the track in the mornings and evenings as well. We loved staying at this park, the RV area may not be attractive but it's a very quiet place to stay and the park next door is nice. The park rangers are also friendly. It's a relatively cool park as far as open space goes (drone flying is recommended here). There's a clean pond with fish and ducks, great for ambiance, aesthetics, picnics you know the deal.
