Beautiful and clean many places to sit. It's also on the river. Many people go rafting on the river but you can also find many calm areas for the kids. The park it's self has a small play ground area and exercising equipment. The whole area is clean from the river to the park. It's also located right on town so many places to eat.

Absolutely beautiful environment! A jewel in the mountains north of Lake Isabella. You can swim and play or relax in the shade. Love it. Kernville is a picturesque town, and I can't wait to go again!

There are NONE anywhere, not even in the bathrooms, just some dumpsters in designated "Trash Areas". Staff was very nice, but did give a feeling to campers of being supervised, not a good vibe while on vacation. Checking out is a little stressful. Even though they are very friendly, workers & owners constantly monitoring your breakdown, packing up process & inspect the condition of your site a few hours BEFORE checkout time even hits, so it takes the "Vacation Feel" out of your vacation at the time you need it most, when your vacation is coming to an end & creating the last memory of your trip. Can not get late checkouts without substantial fees. Again, staff is VERY nice but focuses a little too much on the campers in the campsites & could have been better at supervising the entire campgrounds. Example; we & other campers we spoke to were shot at by BB Guns on both days we were there. We never saw the campers that shot at us being talked to by staff & the shooters never left the entire time we were there. We did not rat out the BB Gun shooters since we told them to knock it off ourselves, but we felt that with the staff constantly hawking campers in the campsites about their trash, camp fires, fire pits, glass bottle use, packing out several hours early & walking through campsites before checkout & other somewhat common camping acts, that they would have been equally involved to been able to have stopped or even prevented the BB Guns from being shot at their campers for a couple days.

I don’t write reviews a lot, but this place deserves 5 stars across the board. The sites were clean, multiple people driving around delivering ice and wood at your convenience. Resources for washing dishes, drinkable water spigots, close bathrooms/showers, on site store with general stuff. Lots of fun this weekend.

The camp grounds are not well suited for larger travel trailers. Getting in and out of this place with a travel trailer is not ideal. I would totally go back and tent camp but never again with a travel trailer.

The campground is super fun, clean, and welcoming—hot showers, clean bathrooms, and plenty of activities like volleyball, cornhole, and shuffleboard kept everyone entertained. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, even delivering firewood and ice right to our campsite. The location by the river is beautiful, and the campsites are spacious and well maintained. You can tell the team truly cares about making it a memorable experience. Highly recommend this campground—Kealy, Trevor, and crew make it a 10/10 adventure every time!
