Round Valley Group Camp

Very peaceful place. Campsites are very far apart. It is a tough, up and down, two mile hike to get here from the tram. Water is available from a spring that is not always guaranteed to be flowing. You are up high at 9000 feet and storms can be sudden during the monsoon season. Pit toilets are nice but spread far apart. Make sure to speak to the park ranger and get a permit before venturing... This camp ground gives you a nice little view of the meadow that is surrounded by towering trees, giving the great feel of truly being in the deep woods. Water source and toilets are also not too far from the camp ground. If you stand in the middle of the meadow, you can see the top of the peak. The spring time is beautiful and better for newer hikers as the winter and snow can add an aspect of di... Overall great! However, had a difficult time understanding where to set camp. According to instructions it should be 25ft within the wooden post (See picture attached) However it was not clear any indications if where I set camp was correct.
