Be ready for the wind if you are tent camping! We basically slept in a wind tunnel. Tent was well secured & blew down twice. Finally had to tie it to the car. That being said, the campsites are close to the water maybe a 4-5 min walk. Nice area to get your feet wet or go fishing.

Beach is nice , clean and maintained. Water feels nice and is clear. Great place to bring family for the day or to camp out at .y You'll have a nice day out and some fun memories to share Boat dock near by. Bathrooms not to far from beach. Spots fill up pretty quick so get there early , plus when they hit capacity they close gates and don't allow anymore entry until people leave.

This was such a nice clean little beach area. Definitely bring water shoes as the ground in some areas can get way too squishy as well as an umbrella as the shade is limited. Parking lot for day use area is on the smaller side and not very friendly for wheelchair users to get down to the beach area. Restrooms are currently under construction in the beach area.

The park is so relaxing, but don't arrive before 2 pm. We had lunch one day at Foster's and dinner another at The Point, and four great campfires! It's clean, and we'll maintained.

Sandy Beach is a pretty and small beach. It is very clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking. Nice views. My only complaint... no real privacy to the bathrooms! NO DOOR for in and out!!! Just 2 stalls with small doors! A weird couple kept hanging out at the bathroom door! Not to use it, but just hanging out when anyone went in or out. I left the area because of that. I went back and so did the... Sandy Beach is a pretty and small beach. It is very clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking. Nice views. My only complaint... no real privacy to the bathrooms!
