Sweetwater Laguna Mountain Campground (Free, BLM)

Pretty well kept place. The camp sites are pretty large, each with a picnic table which is covered. Easy to get to, no big vehicles needed. Can get to this place in a sedan. There is a vault toilet available which was pretty clean for a vault toilet. The sites are spaced out so you are not too close to each other. It is a first come first served location. This is a good little spot.

The drive to get to the campground is long and winding but the road is paved although a little rough. We got there around 1:30pm on a Friday in June and we had the whole place to ourselves! From what I could tell, there’s about 8 spots. After the sun went down around 8pm there were 3 others who showed up. They have lots of campsites but there was only one other person there when I rolled in late. Close to pinnacles np. They have a donation location so I donated cause it was so nice.
