Another thing that we noticed this year is it's looking more like a full time trailer park than a campground. And with all of the negative changes the price has gotten to a point that it's not worth the experience. Overall, if you're in need of somewhere to stay along your route I would say this is a solid spot to post up for the night, but for an extended camping trip it doesn't have much to offer.

Outstanding is the only thing that describes my family's experience at 49 village. Halloween party for the whole campground, just amazing and a lot of fun!

I love the place but the hot tub is never hot enough and it's always broke down and they don't keep up with maintenance.

Really nice family oriented RV park. They also have a few dozen cabins that have decks, bbqs and fully stocked bedrooms and kitchens. The RV spaces a pretty large. They have two nice pools, a pond and an amphitheater where they have bands play on weekends. A great location if you and a few friends want to stay overnight and visit the numerous nice wineries.

Our first trip to 49er Village Campground and we enjoyed our visit. The Pokerville Market is directly across the street from the campground and we didn’t find the prices to be outrageous. The grounds back up to hillsides with cattle. Enjoyed hearing them mooing. Lots of frogs at night, too! It was obvious there are many full-time residents but overall their spots were kept up and only a few seemed to need attention. Did not deter from our experience. We stayed in spot 277 which is a pull through. We had to park the truck perpendicular to the trailer (as did almost all other spots). We did expect a bit more room but we made it work. The general store had cute items as well as plenty of essentials for camping/trailer needs. Overall, a great stay. We will be back!

We had to park our truck in the site parallel to our camper, which took up almost all of the site. Quite a few campers are obviously full time. If you have children, there is no place for bike riding or an area to play. I felt it was worth a review especially for those with children.

We really enjoyed our stay at 49er ranch. The staff are very friendly. We walked along the road into Columbia historic park, took around 15 mins. We panned for gold at the park which was a great experience. Our plot was by the road, so there was a little noise but not too disturbing. I highly recommend 49er RV Ranch!

The staff was wonderful and very helpful and John was GREAT. BUT. Pictures and Inf. of what is there dose not quite make since. Not a lot of room for parking and trying to put your rig in is a little challenging but there willing to help. And the list goes on, very very old school environment and worn down. Please read other peoples reviews before going there, make sure that's what your looking for. Also the road noise is terrible, but that's not there fault. Also a lot of very hard working early morning people going to work stay there. No water at the water wheel. Complained three times. Over all it was OK. Thanks Tony and Linda and puppy.
