A nice and quiet place to camp. Great feeling to feel so far away while still being on Oakland. To place is safe, but there was a lot of poison oak - better watch the kids!

Cool campsite. I enjoyed the trail nearby. I did not expect to hear so much city and road noise. Camp amenities include a fire pit, grill, water spigot, water fountain, and a restroom facility which has pit toilets. Pretty quiet at night. During the day you are below an air flight path. Pretty area wooded with Eucalyptus trees, though brush does contain a lot of poison oak.

I've ridden my bike through the campground once. It seems like a cool place to camp. But there is a bigger campground 5 minutes down the road.

This place rocks...but only once...not twice. Needs more facilities the other group sites (gazebo).
