A good stop over, beautiful scenery, and clean grounds. Plus, you've got to love the smell of Humboldt during harvest time. Really, a no frills RV park, smack in the middle of the coastal redwoods. Sites are close together, everything was very clean, large dog open dog area, small "country store" and Knick knack shop. Star link had clear shot, decent speeds. Star link had clear shot, decent speeds. The South side of the park, the sites get decent shade, the middle sites get sun all day. All hookups worked as expected. There's a camp host, but you check in at the shop. Beautiful drive, beautiful area, beautiful smells.

If there is rain in forecast only reserve the paved area or you will get stuck in mud or be in gravel soup. The water never got hot in the shower which I read about the showers being great here. It is February so maybe letting the water run 10 minutes IDK after 5 min of wasting water I shut off. The shower/bathroom building is not heated as well. The road through the RV park is gravel, and the ground in the RV spaces is bumpy requiring the use of blocks to level the RV. I camped there in late July when Sacramento Valley towns were experien... We stayed here three nights and loved it. The host, Kai, was friendly, personable and helpful. The pasture was so beautiful to look at across the street. Our spot on the grass was grassy and level. The location was so excellent, being 5 miles from the beach in one direction, and less than a mile to downtown. The showers were the best we’ve had in the four months of traveling.
