A good stop over, beautiful scenery, and clean grounds. Plus, you've got to love the smell of Humboldt during harvest time. Really, a no frills RV park, smack in the middle of the coastal redwoods. Really, a no frills RV park, smack in the middle of the coastal redwoods. Sites are close together, everything was very clean, large dog open dog area, small "country store" and Knick knack shop. Star link had clear shot, decent speeds. The South side of the park, the sites get decent shade, the middle sites get sun all day. All hookups worked as expected. There's a camp host, but you check in at the shop. Beautiful drive, beautiful area, beautiful smells.

Had site 39. Paved with full hookups. Needed leveling boards. Clean park. Very convenient to all the area attractions. Nice to have a laundry facility. It takes quarters. WiFi good enough to stream tv. No Verizon service. Occasionally you would get service but not often. Would recommend and would stay again if in the area.

This RV parks is a hidden gem! It was very quiet, very well maintained and had wide, level spaces with full hookups. I also need to give a shout-out to Clay. He helped me when I had problems with my truck. He is an incredible employee and was a pleasure to talk with. We will definitely be coming back!!

Id stay again in warmer months!

I camped there in late July when Sacramento Valley towns were experiencing triple digit temperatures. Temperatures at the Fairgrounds did not exceed 65°F. I wore a fleece vest and a down coat most of the time I was there. There are lots of interesting places to visit nearby.

We stayed here three nights and loved it. The host, Kai, was friendly, personable and helpful. The pasture was so beautiful to look at across the street. Our spot on the grass was grassy and level. The location was so excellent, being 5 miles from the beach in one direction, and less than a mile to downtown. The showers were the best we’ve had in the four months of traveling.
