Within walking distance of lake, stream, store, showers & laundry facilities, although you may prefer to drive the short distances. Fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding fun on Lower Twin Lake. We very much enjoyed our 9-day stay!!

If you're looking to camp in the mountains on a holiday weekend and you hate crowds, then this is the spot. Super chill, no cell reception, great camp host, and you're not on top of your camp neighbor. They even had first come first serve spots still open on memorial day weekend. I definitely will be back In the future.

Beautiful RV campsite below rugged mountains and Lower Twin Lakes. Less trees than the campsite next to the river, but No bugs. RV sites have no hookups, no shower's at the site, however coin shower's are 4 minutes away. Twin Lakes Resort has boats and a great general store nearby. Water was only 7' below normal, fishing only. Upper lake was full.

The generator policy has to change though. We were in a tent trailer with solar panels and came to Crags to enjoy nature. Some of our neighbors had their generators going for HOURS. When we walked by, they’d be in there watching TV! It was so inconsiderate to disturb this peaceful place for everyone around them, so they could act like they’re at home. Our one neighbor had his generator on until after 9pm and then the next morning again from 7-9:30am. So uncalled for. When I went to check generator hours, this camp is 6am-10pm! I’ve never seen such horrible generator hours. I’d suggest these generator people to stay home where they can watch TV all day and not bother anyone. I would also hope that WESTrek Services (who is in charge of this federal land park) change there generator hours, so that everyone can enjoy this lovely spot.
