Was there Halloween weekend and it was empty. There are flushing toilets, showers, and a spigot to refill your water jugs. Showers are warm-hotish but you’ll need quarters! First come first serve during this season. There’s a convenience store and small restaurant right across. Overall great and would come back! :)

Multiple campsites were available, pretty much first come first serve, I’d like to add, if you are a Californian Military Veteran, especially a disabled veteran, you need to get a Distinguished Veteran’s Pass. Or an America the Beautiful pass. We brought a truck and found a low campsite #26, just across from all the biker’s spots and bathrooms, there is an outdoor sink for dishes, bring quarters... As other’s stated there are lots of trees so basically no solar, and star gazing is not easy. Most spots have a picnic table and a small closet I’m assuming for storing food against animals.

Plenty of tree options for hammocks in many camp sites. We set up 3 in campsite 21. I like that the bathrooms are individually enclosed stalls that open to the outside of the building. The showers are on the opposite side.

Super great camping spot above the river. My 12 yr old daughter slept in the hammock overnight in late August. The weather was great! Showers are available $2 for 10 mins, bring quarters! Fire pit was great as long as there is no burn ban. We'll maintained with friendly staff.
