Decided to camp here on our way to Lake Edison. Nice campground with hiking and mountain biking opportunities nearby. The bathrooms are pretty clean. Kaiser Creek has enough water to cool off but not deep enough for proper swimming. The creek and our campsite had some trash and we picked up as much as we could.

A beautiful, out-of-the-way, quiet spot! We really enjoyed hearing the river through the night, and the stars were magnificent. It smells fresh, there's ample wood around for a fire, and there's a trail to hike right by the camp site. We're already planning our next trip!

This campground is pretty far out there, but surprisingly there were a few sites set up and occupied! There is no water available, but a creek flows through it. Pit toilets only are available. Camper trailers and RVs are allowed if you can get them in on the narrow one lane roads coming in. I didn't want to risk it in my 30 ft camper, so I parked it at a dispersed camp spot on the way and drove in to meet my friends who camped here at Sample Meadow. There are two nice hikes that leave from just outside of the campground, Rattlesnake Trail and Twin Lakes Trail.

It's an interesting road to get here, but I think it's worth it.

LOVED this place. If you want to completely disconnect from all the daily stressors then this is the place. No cell or WiFi in most areas helps with relaxation. The steam is near by, out houses are really clean and there are bear boxes to store your food in. So ready to go back for more😍
