Best scout camp in SoCal! Such great history, amazing staff and a beautiful camp. 10/10, highly recommend to all troops in the area. It has ATVs, horses, a ton of merit badges, High COPE, Zip Line, shotgun, rifle, BB guns, and much more.

What's not fun about a girl scout crashing a boy scout camp for some exploring R&R?! Memorial Weekend's open to public to check it out for yourself with a stay. Contact camp for info and reservations...

🥰-The 10 mile dirt road in was in great shape, I led our caravan up it in my low clearance Two Wheel drive Nissan Cube at the posted speed of 15 mph and only had to pay attention to a handful of small ruts and rocks. No Problem. Some of our more urban drivers found it a nice adventure. No Problem. Some of our more urban drivers found it a nice adventure. Our Troop 134, Lakewood, just got back from our first trip to Lost Valley and our Scouts voted overwhelmingly to go back next year. Remarkable because we are in Long Beach Council not Orange County. We had boys and girls from 11 to nearly 18 at camp and all were very pleased with the range of merit badges on offer. Two things stand out from other camps. Hot showers! And the staff!!! I told Oscar, as he was delivering coffee for the adults in each campsite, that he was part of a "high service low profit enterprise! " You could see, in every staff interaction, that they were very well trained in customer service principles. "anything you need?" "Can I help you in any way" kind of attitudes that made the week most memorable and a joy. I love the setting. Many oak trees at 4500' that gave shade everywhere you could want it. 6 degrees cooler during the day than nearby Warner Springs, and light breezes made even the midday sun manageable. The evenings were cool and mild and some mornings even chilly. The camp staff announcements and programs were handled briskly and with amusement. The staff showed our scouts it was super cool to get up, speak, and join in robustly! The rifle and shotgun range staff were amazingly well qualified, helpful and encouraging. I learned a lot from them about being a better scouter and volunteer. There were piped water fountains all over the place and very nice split-faced concrete block pit toilets, The dining hall and food were exceptional by summer camp standards. Hot showers at the pool too. My 12 year old son took four challenging merit badges and completed his work handily with the staff's able assistance.😘
