I'm a travel nurse and stayed here for my 13 weeks assignment. It has all the basics and pretty close to town. The only downside is I have to move to a new site every 21 days. If you have an assignment in Kaiser Fremont, this is the closest and cheapest place to stay.

Full hookups and usually plenty of available spaces. It’s pet-friendly with good walking areas. The grounds are generally clean, dumpster service is consistent, and the women’s bathrooms/showers are well maintained. Kelly is by far the best employee — professional, helpful, and kind every time I interacted with her. Cons: Management can be hit or miss. I witnessed Brad speaking disrespectfully to staff in the office, which was uncomfortable. Paul once threatened to call the police over a one-time, honest mistake when I mixed up my move date by one day after months of staying there without issue — that felt excessive. The cost doesn’t always match the upkeep, especially when the grounds get very muddy. Laundry machines are frequently busy or broken and expensive for their quality. Parking was reduced, and event dates are sometimes blocked without much notice. Kids are allowed to play on other people’s steps, bounce balls off vehicles, and run in the streets, which can be frustrating for residents. Also, having to move every 21 days is difficult for long-term campers — a lease option would make more sense. There are several full-time campers here, and it would be nice to see some kind of loyalty discount or appreciation effort. Overall, it has strong potential because of the location and community, but communication and management consistency could improve — especially for long-term stays.

This place really needs some work, in fact it’s a little scary. There is a new area next to the office that is really nice but as far as the old section, don’t think I’ll stay again. The rv s that are there seemed to have been there for a long long time and look pretty rundown. The office is nice but there are not a lot of things for sale on the shelves. One of the washers was broken and according to a “local” she said it’s been that way for awhile??? The men’s shower was disgusting! There was mold and holes in the walls and one shower head was missing. No shower curtains so disgusting there was not even a chance I’d go in there and catch something. If the entire park was like the new section and they fixed the bathrooms and showers it would be a really nice place. Oh yeah and maybe get rid of the old long time residents and only allow short stays.

This is a quiet and safe RV park. The Fairgrounds are nicely kept and the county is expanding the RV park right now, so the general store isn’t open at this time. Once expansion is completed, the NEW general store will open. Showers and laundry facilities are on site and water, sewer and power are at the sites, some sites with 50 amp service. There’s dining available at the Clubhouse, Turf Club and Cafe, all located within the fairgrounds.

The concert was great, however the venue was a little disappointing. First we are not usually ones to complain, but there are things that were pretty clear on the web site, like no vehicles over 70 inches high in the VIP area. Trucks and tall Suv would need to be in the back so that others could see the stage or screens and hatch backs would have to be closed so people could see. However, that... However, that was not inforced so for some it made seeing any of the concert difficult. That said, We had a awesome time our space was perfect for 4 people, we brought dinner with us and lawn chairs it was a lovely evening and the opening band was really good also! Thank you for the opportunity, hope there will be more!
