The place is beautiful. Most rv sites are from people who live there so the place is very well kept. The landscaping is stunning and you will be surrounded by pine trees and just a walk away from the lake. The bike path just outside the resort is out of this world beautiful. The kids enjoyed the surroundings anyway.

Big Bear Shores RV Resort is a gem! The entire park was extremely clean, well-maintained, and impressively quiet—perfect for a peaceful getaway in Big Bear. We really appreciated the calm atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. It’s clear the staff takes great care of the property. It’s clear the staff takes great care of the property. If we could suggest one small improvement, it would be the addition of a designated dog area. That would make it even more convenient for guests traveling with pets. Overall, we would highly recommend this RV resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and upscale RV experience in the area. We’ll definitely be back!

Not Worth the Price - Unwelcoming for Holidaymakers We were excited for a family trip to Big Bear RV Park, but left disappointed. While the views from our lakeside site were beautiful, the experience overall was underwhelming and overpriced at $270/night. From the start, we were handed a full sheet of rules — many highlighted — which felt excessive (no WiFi despite being standard in every KOA).... Not Worth the Price - Unwelcoming for Holidaymakers We were excited for a family trip to Big Bear RV Park, but left disappointed. While the views from our lakeside site were beautiful, the experience overall was underwhelming and overpriced at $270/night. From the start, we were handed a full sheet of rules — many highlighted — which felt excessive (no WiFi despite being standard in every KOA). It quickly became clear that this park prioritises permanent residents over short-term guests. As a family of five, we were only given four patio chairs, and despite asking, no extra was provided. We had pool access but were never given codes for the shower rooms. The beautiful outdoor kitchen area, advertised as part of the amenities, was off-limits — we were told it’s because “people don’t clean up,” which is not an acceptable reason when charging premium rates. Overall, we felt like second-class visitors. Friendly staff couldn’t make up for the rigid rules and lack of basic hospitality. We won’t be returning.
