The cabins are cute. There was no TV if that's something you care about, no wifi either. Also, we were quoted 150 dollars for the cabin and a 50 dollar cleaning "deposit". The deposit was actually just a fee. So it's actually 200 dollars for the night. We needed a place to stay, so we accepted this. I just didn't like feeling mislead. Perhaps she misspoke.

What a gem! Hawk's Nest did not disappoint! Huge trees, big RV spots, playground for the kids, and beautiful scenery everywhere you look. This place is amazing! The owners are accommodating and keep the park up so nicely. If you are looking for a secluded spot in the trees- this is your place.

We decided to stop at Hawks Newt RV Camp and take the opportunity to see the lava beds. Upon arrival, we met Jim, the owner, who was an extremely pleasant individual. We felt very welcomed, and he made sure we had everything we needed. The camp is very clean, with spacious spots for RVs, showers, and toilets, all exceptionally well maintained. There’s a huge play area for kids, and we even played soccer with my son. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again in the future. Oh, and even though check-out is at 11 AM, they allowed us to check out later since we wanted to see some caves.

Very nice and quiet location. We stayed for 5 nights and this spot is close to a lot of history on the Modoc Indians. Jim was amazing and very friendly. Would stay here again.
