About Jackson Rancheria RV Park

Campground in California.

Nestled in the heart of California's Gold Country, Jackson Rancheria RV Park offers a welcoming destination for travelers seeking comfort and convenience with authentic Sierra Nevada charm. This well-maintained park provides a peaceful retreat while keeping you close to the rich history and natural beauty that defines this region of California.

The Jackson area is steeped in Gold Rush heritage, and staying at Jackson Rancheria RV Park places you in the perfect position to explore this fascinating chapter of American history. The town of Jackson itself is a charming destination with historic Main Street lined with antique shops, local restaurants, and galleries that reflect the area's colorful past. You can walk through the same streets that prospectors traveled over 150 years ago, creating a tangible connection to the region's storied past.

Beyond history, the surrounding landscape offers tremendous appeal for outdoor enthusiasts. The park's location provides convenient access to some of California's most beautiful natural areas. Hiking trails wind through the nearby Sierra foothills, offering opportunities to experience diverse ecosystems and stunning vistas. Spring wildflower displays paint the hillsides with color, while autumn brings cooler temperatures perfect for extended outdoor exploration. The region's wineries have also gained recognition in recent years, making it an increasingly popular destination for wine country enthusiasts looking for a more off-the-beaten-path experience compared to Napa or Sonoma.

The area appeals to a wide variety of travelers. History buffs will appreciate the numerous Gold Rush sites and well-preserved buildings that tell the story of California's earliest settlers. Nature lovers find excellent opportunities for hiking, photography, and enjoying pristine outdoor spaces. Families appreciate the safe, friendly community atmosphere and the abundance of activities suitable for all ages. Retirees often choose this region for its mild climate, cultural attractions, and slower pace of life.

Jackson Rancheria RV Park serves as an ideal base camp for discovering why so many visitors are drawn to California's Sierra Nevada foothills year after year. Whether you're seeking adventure, relaxation, or a step back in time, this location delivers an authentic California experience.

Cut our stay short and left the next morning. They called 2 days later to let us know the ecoli was gone from the RV well.and welcomed us back. They are opening a new family section in 2026. Hopefully it will be maintained.

The Jackson Rancheria RV Park is one of the best RV Parks I have visited. The RV park is very well-maintained and super clean, including the restrooms. The lawns are green. One of the better RV Resorts. I was in a bit of a rush to get back on the road due to snow on the mountains and I left my surge protector. I received a call from the ladies at the front desk advising me. They even shipped it to my home. All the ladies were extremely friendly and respectful. I'll definitely be back.

We love this clean full hookup RV park. And hourly shuttle bus cruises the park to take visitors to the casino for great meals or gambling.
