We've tent camped at Kamp Klamath for about 2 years now. This was the first time we stayed in the rv spots. This is our first year owning and becoming familiar with a diesel truck and a 5th wheel... We reserved spot M1 which has full hookups. It was really nice to have water, septic and electricity at our spot. It sounds like any other place, but they go above and beyond for their guests. We had planned on being there on Sunday but couldn't make it that day. Kamakakoa called to make sure we were OK and see if we needed anything. This is someone we have never met before, calling to make sure we are OK. We arrived super late, so didn't really see anyone until the next morning. Come to find out, we forgot our water and septic hose and planned on going to Crescent City to buy some. Kamakakoa told us they had some we could borrow and set them out for us. Upon checking out, trying to hook the truck back up to the trailer, we didn't lift the back stabilizer first, so when backing up it knocked those off, and ruined them. Totally our amateur fault. Kamakakoa and the other amazing guys, told us the issue and what we needed to do. Got their tools and asked if they could help. They took the stabilizers off for us. Talk about going above and beyond! We already loved this place, but this is our home away from home now. Great people. Playground for the kids, horse shoes, tether ball, walking trails. 20 miles south of Crescent City. Different types of sites for tents, rvs. I asked my 14 year old daughter to take pics and this is all she got..

Also a volleyball net, area for horseshoes, a play area for the kiddos. They also offer an area for tent camping. Would definitely stay here again.

We only had a chance to spend one night and it was wonderful. Nicely staffed with great people who took care of us and kept the campsites well maintained. They offer wood for campfires that they take to our site. Nicely located close to the Redwood Forest, local attractions, gas and food. Will be staying here again.

Stayed here for 5 nights…very nice facilities, staff was very helpful, beautiful setting with the river nearby, bathrooms and showers were great! The beach is just down the road, you will need to be able to walk about 1/4 mile on a rough trail to get to it, but it’s worth the walk as there was so much wildlife there, birds, whales, seals, etc. this camp site is close to lots of other activities, guided jet boat rides, hikes through the redwoods and watching some elk.
