Shingletown is popular during peak season. Reserve 2-4 weeks in advance for weekends and holidays.
Most parks have check-in after 1:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Call ahead if you'll arrive late.

We stopped here for a couple of days to take a break and do laundry and stuff. The facilities were spotless, washer/ dryers were cleanand there was a nice area to hang out. Bathrooms were also clean, and the showers were roomy and the water, hot. Was a nice quiet place, grounds were well maintained and the people were super friendly..

We called ahead to see when they closed . It was 4 pm and we had to put cash through the mail slot. Wish we didn’t pay because we would have left. They put us in a tight stop and the trailer next to us was plugged into our electrical. Long timer!! Also there was a dishwasher in the front of the trailer. Also there was a dishwasher in the front of the trailer. The sewers were right next to us on both sides so we didn’t want to sit outside. Behind us were a bunch of branches. That night the same neighbors dogs bark til midnight because no one was there. Just didn’t feel comfortable. Lots of permanent and empty Rv’s. There were better spots available that we would have liked better. I took pictures. I will try and post. Great location and has potential. Wish the experience was better.

I’ve really enjoyed my stay at this clean & quiet RV park that sits right on the Sac river! The waterfront property offers an area designated as their private beach where you can wade out a little ways to do some fishing if you’d like, there’s a private boat launch for guests only, and they also have a nice and clean gated swimming pool for guests only as well. They offer a small quarter operated laundry room to use during your stay, it is limited to three washers/three dryers and timing is inevitable. I know there’s key coded locked restrooms with quarter operated hot showers (I’m told they’re a bit outdated inside & could use a lot more attention when cleaning them though) next to the laundry room, but I’ve not been in them myself. The few staff members are very nice & friendly and they do care to know if guests are satisfied with the accommodations offered or not. I’d highly recommend anyone passing through town to consider staying here, you shouldn’t be disappointed at all 😉 especially if you’re in a self-contained RV!

I've been at Marina RV Park for over six months now, and the issues here are piling up faster than the uncollected trash. The lack of an on-site manager is glaring—no one's around to handle the day-to-day, leaving residents twisting in the wind for simple fixes or disputes. The office staff mean well, but they're totally out of the loop on park operations, so reporting problems feels pointless. Wo... The lack of an on-site manager is glaring—no one's around to handle the day-to-day, leaving residents twisting in the wind for simple fixes or disputes. The office staff mean well, but they're totally out of the loop on park operations, so reporting problems feels pointless. Worse, there's a blatant issue with non-paying residents: multiple long-term spots are occupied by folks who haven't ponied up rent in months, turning the place into a chaotic free-for-all. We're all stuck dealing with their noise, messes, and endless complaints because no one's stepping in to enforce the basics. And don't get me started on the maintenance "team"—it's basically one guy who's perpetually intoxicated, stumbling around drunk and reeking of booze from morning till night. He can't fix a leaky faucet to save his life; everything he touches either stays broken or gets half-assed, only to fail again soon after. On top of that, he's the rudest, most arrogant person imaginable—snapping at residents like we're the problem, cursing under his breath, and acting like he owns the place. It's not just unprofessional; it's unsafe and embarrassing for a so-called "park" to rely on someone this unreliable. This spot could be great with the marina views, but until they clean house on management, collections, and that maintenance disaster, I'd advise anyone to keep driving. Total letdown.

Office personnel are friendly and almost everyone I have met here has been nice to my family so I can say we are happy campers...I would definitely recommend Marina RV park to one and all.
