Oak Del RV Park

I've lived here in Oak Dell RV Park for 10 years ( I meant to only stay for one), and I love it! My two year old niece comes over at least 3 times a month, and we walk down the driveway, play ball in my site and have NEVER had anyone make me feel uncomfortable about having her here. It's generally 5-8 degrees cooler here than in town. You can here a pin drop in the evenings, and the park feels les... The management team of Janet and Stuart are accommodating, and helpful. They are knowledgeable when it comes to maintaining your RV. Or who to go to for repairs. I have learned, after 10 years here. The very few people who have negative reviews of the park can usually be traced back to those people making a problem, breaking the rules, or treating the office staff inappropriately. Not to mention, when my husband and I have inquired about rents, amenities, and rules in the other parks in the area it's been clear that when it comes down to it Oak Dell is our choice. It's affordable. It's as clean as a whistle, and safe as can be. Managers don't seem to be interested in crawling up your tail pipe with a magnifier every time your outside, or entertaining guests. This park, from a tenants point of view, is where you want to live if your laid back and low maintenance. If your interested in the latest gossip, talking about every neighbor who says hello, or living like a pig. This is not the park for you!

By far the worst RV park we have ever stayed at. Would have given a no star rating but 1 was the lowest. Very rude neighbor who couldn't stand the sound of kids. He slept in the day time and worked very early in the morning. One peep after quiet time (8pm) and he'd come pounding on the door harassing us to shut the hell up. i got there at five and it all seemed so beautiful, boy looks can be deceiving. Don't get me wrong I love the way the park is set up, the problem is the lies that they use to get people to rent from them. 1. The amenities say "Showers," we got there late so we didn't go look for the showers until the next day. While doing laundry in a laundry room with no heat, I found the shower in the same build... i got there at five and it all seemed so beautiful, boy looks can be deceiving. Don't get me wrong I love the way the park is set up, the problem is the lies that they use to get people to rent from them. 1. The amenities say "Showers," we got there late so we didn't go look for the showers until the next day. While doing laundry in a laundry room with no heat, I found the shower in the same building also have no heat. It was warmer outside than it was in the bathroom and laundry room. Then you have to pay $1.25 for 12 minutes of shower time. I believe that unheated showers that you have to pay for should be listed in the information about the park. 2. The internet is horribly slow and looses signal every five minutes. 3. we decided to leave the park early because i needed a shower that would not cause my husband who has COPD to get sick, and they refused to give me any of the remaining days money back. Seriously, they lied about the park amenities and refuse to give me my money. I will never go to this place again. Don't go there unless you want to spend all your money on a shower with no heat.

If not for the management, the place may not be a bad place to stay for a short while. I urge anyone considering this place to talk to management a FEW times to see how they really are.
