About Pahrump RV Park and Lodging

Campground in California.

Pahrump RV Park and Lodging offers a welcoming desert escape for travelers seeking a comfortable base to explore one of the American Southwest's most dynamic regions. Located in the heart of Pahrump, this RV park provides convenient access to some of Nevada's most iconic attractions while maintaining a peaceful atmosphere perfect for relaxation and adventure alike.

The Pahrump area has become increasingly popular with RV enthusiasts over the past decade, and for good reason. This vibrant community sits just an hour west of Las Vegas, making it an ideal stopping point for those wanting to experience the glitz and excitement of the Strip without the intensity of staying directly on the busy boulevard. Yet Pahrump itself has developed into a destination worth exploring, with its own charm, character, and opportunities for outdoor recreation.

The landscape surrounding Pahrump is quintessential Nevada desert, featuring striking mountain ranges, wide-open spaces, and stunning sunsets that paint the sky in brilliant oranges, reds, and purples. The high desert elevation keeps temperatures moderate compared to lower desert regions, making spring, fall, and winter particularly pleasant times to visit. Summer visitors will find the dry heat manageable, though early mornings and evenings become favorite times for outdoor activities.

For nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, the area offers exceptional opportunities. Death Valley National Park lies within reasonable driving distance, presenting otherworldly landscapes including salt flats, sand dunes, and some of the lowest elevation points in North America. Red Rock Canyon provides another spectacular destination just south of Las Vegas, featuring stunning geological formations and excellent hiking trails. Closer to home, visitors enjoy exploring the various desert trails, scenic drives, and opportunities for stargazing in the clear desert skies.

Pahrump itself continues to grow as a cultural and recreational hub. The town features quality dining options, shopping, and entertainment venues. Local attractions include the Pahrump Valley Winery, historic mining sites, and various recreational facilities. The community hosts events throughout the year that draw visitors and provide opportunities to experience authentic Nevada culture.

This location appeals to diverse travelers: those using it as a convenient Las Vegas base, retirees seeking affordable desert living, adventure seekers exploring Death Valley and the surrounding wilderness, and families wanting a quieter alternative to the crowded Las Vegas corridor. Whether you're planning a quick overnight stop or an extended stay to thoroughly explore the region, Pahrump RV Park and Lodging provides a practical home base for your desert adventures.

People you meet along the way make the most impact on your day to day living quality. Tammy and Jeff are the best. Don't miss your chance to enjoy the Hosts and the special amenities. I was sure glad I enjoyed the friends and surroundings.

I am giving it low rating because the manager is a liar. She said my cat will be allowed outside but on the day of signing the lease and moving in, she wrote down on the lease that the cat is not permitted outside of the RV. Of course, I refused to move in. She waisted my time and money. There are few spaces that are shaded and these are taken, the rest are treeless. The spaces are small. No swimm... I was told the Wifi is sketchy. The neighborhood is also sketchy.

The gentleman Jeff who's supposed to be the management of the park all he does is go around harassing the elderly people. And Tammy who happens to be his wife all she does is lie lie lie to the tenants right in front of their face the older people. And rumor is that some of the tenants pass away in that part they sell their travel trailer RV Jeff and Tammy. Very very horrible people bad attitudes... Staying at the Pahrump RV park. The only positive feedback I have is that the staff behind the reception was very nice and friendly. I would recommend wearing a body-condom in the shower.

I rented an RV here for 10 days. It was quite comfortable. Inside the RV the hot water tank is rather small, so you must be quick about your shower. Inside the RV the hot water tank is rather small, so you must be quick about your shower. That worked for me, but if you want a longer, more luxurious shower, the main building has a full-strength shower and each guest is given a key. I did laundry twice; it was not crowded and everything was clean and worked. The neighbors are absolutely quiet. There were loud vehicles outside, probably on public streets. But everything calmed down by 8:00 or so. I was never awakened while sleeping. Note that unlike a hotel with many identical rooms, each RV is different. Thus the photos are a composite of all the RVs for rent. Still I found that the photos accurately represented the quality of my RV #22.
