About Seaview Estates Mobile Home & RV Spa & Resort

Campground in California.

Nestled in the heart of the California desert, Seaview Estates Mobile Home & RV Spa & Resort offers a unique getaway experience near the Salton Sea, one of California's most intriguing natural wonders. Located in Salton City, this resort-style destination provides travelers with a comfortable base for exploring the desert landscape and enjoying the distinctive character of this region.

The Salton Sea itself is a remarkable destination that draws visitors year-round. This large inland sea creates a surprising oasis in the desert, offering opportunities for fishing, boating, and birdwatching. The area is known for its excellent sport fishing, particularly for corvina, tilapia, and other species that thrive in these unique waters. Birdwatchers find the region exceptional, as the Salton Sea serves as a critical stopover point on the Pacific Flyway migration route, making it one of the best birding destinations in Southern California.

Beyond water activities, the surrounding desert region offers plenty of exploration opportunities. The nearby Imperial Valley showcases California's agricultural heritage, while scenic desert drives provide stunning vistas of the stark, dramatic landscape that defines this part of the state. The area's clear desert skies make it ideal for stargazing, offering some of the darkest night skies in Southern California.

Salton City itself has a laid-back, friendly atmosphere that appeals to travelers seeking a slower pace. The community is welcoming to RV visitors, and the location provides convenient access to local dining and shopping options. The desert climate means mild winters and warm summers, though visitors should come prepared for temperature extremes during peak seasons.

This destination appeals to retirees seeking a peaceful retreat, fishing enthusiasts drawn to the Salton Sea's abundant waters, nature lovers interested in desert ecology and wildlife, and adventurers looking to explore off-the-beaten-path California destinations. Whether you're planning a weekend escape or an extended desert stay, Seaview Estates provides a comfortable home base for experiencing this distinctive region.

Stayed here in the off season and it was great. If you want peace and quiet and plenty of sun and heat this place is it. Great location if you want to be near Palm Springs, Salton Sea, Inland Empire, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

This is an exciting trailer park where you feel the culture of both Canada and Mexico. It’s quiet with the sound of birds chirping in the morning. That is as long as there’s not 20 or 30 side-by-sides revving their motors like the start of the Daytona 500. An owl did swoop down and steal my girlfriend‘s kitten while we were there, but witnessing nature in its finest form was worth it. Overall, I r...
