About Shady Acres RV Park

Campground in California.

Shady Acres RV Park offers a comfortable base for RV travelers exploring California's diverse landscapes and attractions. Located in California, this park provides a welcoming retreat for those seeking a reliable place to park and rest between adventures or while exploring the surrounding region.

The park's name reflects one of its key features—shaded grounds that provide relief from California's often intense sun. Whether you're traveling during the warm summer months or enjoying California's mild winters, having tree coverage can make a significant difference in your camping comfort. Shade becomes especially valuable when you're spending time around your RV during the day, offering a cooler environment for relaxing or working on the road.

California itself is an incredible destination for RV travelers. The state stretches across multiple climate zones and geographic regions, from coastal areas to inland valleys, deserts, and mountains. This diversity means that no matter what time of year you visit or what type of scenery appeals to you, California likely has something to offer. The state's extensive network of highways makes it easy to plan road trips that connect multiple attractions and natural wonders.

Shady Acres serves as a practical stopping point for RV travelers with varying travel styles. Whether you're a full-time RVer seeking a long-term place to settle, someone taking a cross-country road trip with planned stops, or a weekend adventurer exploring California's backroads, having a reliable park with shade can enhance your overall experience.

The park's moderate rating of 3.0 out of 5 stars based on guest reviews suggests it offers a functional camping experience with both strengths and areas where expectations may vary. Reading through reviews can help you understand what other travelers have appreciated and what to keep in mind during your stay. This honest feedback from fellow RV enthusiasts provides valuable insight into what your experience might be like.

When choosing where to park your RV, factors like shade, level ground, and convenient access matter greatly to your comfort and enjoyment. Shady Acres appears to prioritize these practical considerations for guests.

We have been here close to 4 years. We absolutely love it. The park is always clean and the owners are great . If you ever have a problem you can always contact the park host and he makes sure it's taken care of .

Love the piece and quite, the people that have lived here forever are some of the best people to meet. The owner of the park is awesome. We have a variety of animals that roam the park, ducks, chickens, geese.

Drove to the coast looking for a nice campground. Shady Acres had good reviews. We were excited to find such a nice place to stay, until we got there. We drove through their campground in complete silence. We were speechless. All I can tell you is, Don’t waste your time. The pictures had to have been taken before it became a run down trailer park.

I lived here about a year and a half. It is kept up nicely, a big lake for various ducks and for fishing with benches. They’ve kept all the trees they can. I made friends there, met some quirky people & some normal (whatever that is) people. This is a nice little 50+ RV Community Park.

People are polite an friendly. Very helpful. Overall great place to stay or visit if you have friends who live there. Weird thing is they have public showers/bathrooms but you have to have a code for which changes weekly. So it can be a pain if the code was changed a your host isn’t aware of the new code.

There seems to be stray dogs at night time and the homeless people tend to rummage the garbage. But I see a lot of potential

My mother step father started that pond many years ago. I wish we still had ties to it.
