We stayed for 2 nights at spot #9. Spots in the park are VERY close. It had been raining the week and several very large branches were down and one large one had to be moved to back in. My biggest complaint is for the price, level spots would be of great value. The restroom were large and clean. The spa was out of order so we just stayed in the RV for 48 hrs sitting, waiting out the rain. The staff were very nice. The road in is not terrible as we did drive in the route that they did not recommend and has absolutely beautiful views, it was easily maneuvered in a 23ft van.

Trinidad is 10-15 mins away with a great market and restaurants. We liked Seascape Cafe for Breakfast and Trinidad Bay Eatery for Lunch/Dinner. And if you want a special romantic dinner, check out the Larrupin' Cafe for an incredible dinner, need reservations. That place was amazing! A very nicely upgraded and well maintained RV park with laundry, nice pet spots, camp store, etc. We liked it better than all the other local RV parks. They have nice cabins too. We even loved the sea lions. This will be our place to stay in the Trinidad area going forward!

This was our first visit to Trinidad, and we loved staying at the School House. The recent renovation blends modern comfort with historic charm, creating a warm and welcoming space. I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the wonderful experience my boyfriend and I had at this resort during our recent babymoon/visiting family in Trinidad. We had initially booked a different campground/resort, but it was unfortunately located directly next to Highway 101, making it impossible to relax due to constant traffic noise. I mean so close that we could see our 5th wheel from the 101. Seeking a more peaceful stay, we found this resort through a quick Google search and a recommendation from family. When we arrived the following morning, the office was not yet open, but a very kind blonde woman, who was about to go into an interview, still assisted me. She provided us with a map, circled available sites, and allowed us to drive around to explore. She mentioned that if she weren't about to interview someone, she would have booked us on the spot, and advised me to book online or call back in an hour when the receptionist arrived. We ended up calling and successfully booking a site. When we checked in that sweet blonde lady was there and actually ended up checking us in, come to find out she and her husband are the owners. Both of them are very accommodating, understanding and just really genuine nice people. Every staff member we encountered demonstrated exceptional customer service and truly went above and beyond, they even allowed us to check in early given our situation. The sites are meticulously maintained, and the resort offers a beautiful and diverse range of options. We were so impressed that we have decided this will be our exclusive choice for future visits to Trinidad. We look forward to returning in September.

Camp Trinidad is a great RV park just north of Trinidad. We stayed in site #8, an ocean view site. This one also comes with a deck which was really nice. Bathrooms are very clean. There is a large dog run where our pups met other nice dogs. The location is nice - well off 101 on a quiet road. If we’d had more time we would have road our bikes into Trinidad on the road. We’d heard it is not typical... Camp Trinidad is a great RV park just north of Trinidad. We stayed in site #8, an ocean view site. This one also comes with a deck which was really nice.
