We went out to death valley and ended up camping here in our truck/tent. The hot spring pools were fantastic way to relax the night away. We got a great soak in the morning with a nic Continental breakfast and headed down the road to China ranch date farm. A wonderful escape from Vegas

Ray and Yvonne were wonderful hosts during our stay in the Sunflower Cabin. Ray made delicious biscuits and tomato gravy, along with an assortment of other breakfast items. Ray is a wealth of knowledge, conversing with him was great. Despite our late arrival, Yvonne took her time explaining the rules, including the why there was protocol in their springs. Both available spas were lovely, well... Ray and Yvonne were wonderful hosts during our stay in the Sunflower Cabin. Hands down, the cleanest springs we’ve visited in Tecopa. At night, the stargazing is spectacular. We will definitely be coming back for more homemade biscuits and gravy. I was also able to purchase Yvonne’s cookbook. She is so wonderful, she wrote a note to give her a call if I had any questions about the recipes. Thank you so much!!! We will be back soon.

Our experience camping at this property was awful from start to finish. My wife and I have traveled all over, and we’ve never encountered hosts as rude and condescending as Ray and Yvonne. My wife and I have traveled all over, and we’ve never encountered hosts as rude and condescending as Ray and Yvonne. From the moment we arrived, we felt more like unwelcome intruders than paying guests. They have a way of talking down to people, lecturing as if we were children rather than customers. The entire place has a strange, cult-like vibe, with Bible verses plastered everywhere—which wouldn’t be an issue if the owners actually lived by the values they claim to uphold. Instead, they were pushy, controlling, and downright mean-spirited. If you don’t fit their mold of the “ideal guest,” you can expect cold treatment, judgmental stares, and passive-aggressive comments. Aside from their behavior, the property itself was unimpressive. The pool was small and covered in grime, the amenities were minimal, and the whole place felt neglected. Rather than focusing on improving their campground, Ray and Yvonne seemed more interested in badmouthing the competing business across the street. It was honestly embarrassing to listen to. After leaving, I checked some other reviews and saw that any criticism is met with one of Ray’s notoriously long, defensive responses. Instead of taking feedback professionally, he writes bitter, drawn-out replies that make it clear they care more about arguing than about actually making their place better. If you’re looking for a relaxing, enjoyable camping experience, steer clear of this place. There are plenty of better options out there run by people who actually understand hospitality.

Very nice people own this place. Very reasonably priced and no resort fees. Exceptionally clean tubs from artisan well. This is a must see place if you want to relax in nature just in Tecopa California... Family friendly and dogs permitted. This was our first time here and definitely not our last. Thank you for the kindness Ray and Yvonne. God bless.

Always a pleasure visiting here. Stayed in the RV titled "Recover" this time. Ray and Yvonne Reed are such compassionate, hard working hosts (as well as their very sweet canine helper, Gracie. Ray made an amazing breakfast in which, the flap jacks NEVER disappoint. Not only do they provide a clean environment to help the body heal, but they have very helpful, and knowledgeable advice on how to feel better overall. Certainly, a place I would recommend to anyone who is simply tired of being tired.
