My mom’s dog passed away when we got to this park. The amazing owner went out of her way to take us to the vet to have her cremated. I have stayed at over 300 rv parks and have never found an owner as kind as the owner of this park. This was one of the most beautiful places in this country and so peaceful. Enjoyed 3 glorious days here. Wonderful RV park. Owner is awesome, as are campers in the park. So peaceful, beautiful and quiet. We really didn’t want to leave. We travel 6 months a year and this place was top notch!

I was traveling from AZ to WA and at 68 yrs old, decided to kick hotels and restaurants to the curb in favor of tent camping. I was traveling from AZ to WA and at 68 yrs old, decided to kick hotels and restaurants to the curb in favor of tent camping. I packed my trusty ole Jeep Wrangler with all the usual camping gear that I still possessed after a half century of absents of such camping. I know right, what was I thinking?! Having made the commute from SoCal to Carson City many times back in the 70's, I have passed this quaint lil gem a gazillion times but never stopped until now. I made reservations for a dry campsite days earlier as it was late spring and figured it would fill up fast. I wasn't wrong. My site was right at the edge of the lake! Hot damn!! On the other side of the road was a grassy playground equipped with a modern jungle Jim and slide if you have young ones. Across from that were the restrooms with plumbing! Things were lookin good as I settled down, enjoying the additional amenities at my campsite. A large picnic table and fire pit all over looking the lake that also had a water faucet between sites. I was flying solo, so I had thought I saw a list of features at this facility that mentioned showers. But where? There is no signage indicating where they might be hiding. I roamed the whole place but....nothin. the next morning, after using the restroom, upon exiting, I glanced behind and noticed a couple of unisex bathrooms at the rear of the building. Again, no other indication that they were anything other than perhaps restrooms for the handicap. Intrigued, I walked over and peeked inside the door of one of the units. Dang! I hit pay dirt!! They were equipped with showers!! The secret was out! I never spotted a ranger while I overnighted there, but I'm sure one or two may have been on the grounds but keeping a low profile. There was also a boat launch and other camp sites that are equipped for all manner of RV's. My dry site was only $10 per night. I highly recommend this facility!! Really enjoyed my stay there.

Great place to stay. Everyone is super friendly and the owner Julie is a SUPER host. She helps you to your site and guides you in perfectly. The sites are level and clean. The best part is the view of Topaz Lake. This will be a must stop when passing through
