About Uvas Pines RV Park

Campground in California.

Nestled in the scenic Santa Clara Valley, Uvas Pines RV Park offers a peaceful retreat in Morgan Hill, California. This well-established RV destination provides convenient access to one of Northern California's most vibrant regions, where wine country, outdoor recreation, and charming small-town character converge.

Morgan Hill itself is a delightful community located in the heart of Silicon Valley's southern reaches, yet it maintains a distinctly rural and agricultural character that sets it apart from more urbanized areas. The town is surrounded by rolling hills, orchards, and vineyards that create a picturesque backdrop for your camping adventure. The Uvas Road location places you in close proximity to both natural attractions and the conveniences of town, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.

The surrounding region is famous for its world-class wineries and tasting rooms. Wine enthusiasts will find themselves in paradise, with numerous boutique wineries just a short drive away. Beyond wine country, the area offers exceptional outdoor recreation opportunities. Nearby trails and parks provide excellent hiking, biking, and nature exploration for those seeking active adventures. The elevation and landscape around Morgan Hill create stunning views, particularly during golden hour when the hillsides glow with warm light.

For visitors interested in local culture, Morgan Hill hosts farmers markets, seasonal festivals, and community events throughout the year. The downtown area offers local restaurants, antique shops, and galleries that reflect the region's agricultural heritage and growing culinary scene. The proximity to larger attractions means you can easily venture out for day trips to San Jose, the Santa Cruz mountains, or other nearby destinations while returning to your peaceful home base at the park.

This location appeals to a diverse range of travelers: wine enthusiasts seeking access to excellent tasting rooms, outdoor adventurers looking for hiking and nature activities, travelers traversing California who want a more relaxed pace than typical highway stops, and families wanting to experience Northern California's agricultural and natural beauty. Beautiful park with very large, level spaces. Lots of trees and flowers with a nice little dog park. Front desk staff are super sweet and helpful with check in. The spots are very similar to spaces at Fort Wilderness a @ Disney World.

⸻ I’m genuinely disappointed with this place and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The maintenance staff are kind and respectful, but the woman in the office is incredibly rude and unprofessional. The maintenance staff are kind and respectful, but the woman in the office is incredibly rude and unprofessional. She clearly doesn’t like children or music. She came to our trailer at 2 PM — not even during quiet hours — to tell us to lower the music, which was playing inside while I was cleaning. It felt completely unnecessary and made us feel unwelcome. Earlier that same day, she also tried to charge us for a payment I had already made before moving in. Instead of checking her records first, she just assumed we hadn’t paid. That kind of disorganization is unacceptable. On top of that, the facilities are in terrible condition. The washing machines are filthy, there’s visible wear and tear everywhere, and there are no amenities or activities to justify the price. Everything looks old and poorly maintained. For the amount they charge, this place is absolutely not worth it. I regret staying here. Don’t waste your time or money. ⸻

We had our neighbor bring us grapes & we’re unbelievably hospitable all I met were - the grounds are kept up at all times & they will accommodate you in any way possible without a second step - Nancy is so gracious as a host / manager , so it cannot be her they speak of , however I have found that many use review tools as a way of a temper tantrum . We were delayed a year in the RV from our move out of state due to an injury ,& while we pay for Thousand Trails membership right next door , on our “ Out” week we were led here. By another TT member , we chose to pay the rent & stay because it was so comfortable & nice . I cannot say enough about this incredible gem , whatever it is you’re doing ( to the owner ) keep it up as they prove their allegiance daily .

Amazing RV park with nature that surrounds you. Very big and private spots. The staff is one of a kind. Nancy the manager runs things beautifully. Ensuring that the park stays clean and safe- especially for the kids. JR and Israel go out of their way to keep the park clean. It’s a plus that they are as friendly as they are. All neighbors are like family no matter how long your stay is. Everyone lo... Amazing RV park with nature that surrounds you. Very big and private spots. The staff is one of a kind. Everyone looks out for one another and says hello, which is nice in the world we are currently living in. Thankful for this little gem!
