Also, the park rangers working the visitors center are so informative and knowledgeable about the area. I had several questions and was completely informed when we left the visitor center.

Stay at Julian for a night. Enioyed its famous Julian Cafe Bakery classic burger and apple cider. Go to the park in the next morning. Park fee is 10 paid online or at kiosk in the visitor center. Most of the park is untamed. Almost park roads are wilderly dirt roads. The wilderflowers on are blooming now, earlier than we thought. Many trails for lovers.

We had lots of fun on our hike to the oasis, there was lots of wildflowers and rocks for shade. Temperature was great, didn’t see any animals besides a coyote and lizard.
