Would not recommend. This was a terrible camping experience. We rented the "group" site 3 times the cost @ $121.00 a night. We wanted the entire weekend from a Thursday to Sunday. Once we arrived we found that the campsite was on the road. There was power for 3 campers, but hardly enough room to get them parked. Our "neighbors across the road were constantly pulling into our site to back into thiers. The "camp hosts" if you want to call them that, were mostly unavailable and when we told them we were wanting the Friday "first come first serve" spot as well, they informed us we needed to pay cash for it. I went to the self serve kiosk to pay for the site, and as I was paying another car pulled up and was trying to pay for the same site, they said the camp hosts had just told them that our site was available, talk about trying to start a fight! Saturday morning we decided to go ahead and leave early. The noise and constant traffic was too much. As we were packing up, someone asked if we were leaving, they were going to rent the spot we were in. We had vacated the spot by 10am and another group had rented it, paying cash, of course. We requested a refund a refund for the night we didn't use and were denied. Even though someone else had rented it. This is a California company managing a Colorado campground. We have definitely gotten to the point that California controls Colorado. This company should be ashamed. And stop doing untraceable cash transactions.

It was our first time camping at Bellaire Lake and we were impressed. It was so peaceful and well maintained, and the lake was great for fishing and walking around. We also did some paddleboarding, which was nice. It was also nice that the campground had flushing toilets and sinks. We camp a lot at Dowdy Lake and Dowdy does not have the flushing toilets (just vault toilets). I would recommend that... It was our first time camping at Bellaire Lake and we were impressed. I would recommend that Bellaire Lake campground put in soap dispensers in the bathrooms since they have the nice sinks.

We camped two nights at the Bellaire Campground. The sites were nicely spaced with neighbors a nice distance from each other. The bathrooms were nice and clean with a flush toilet! And Bellaire Lake is beautiful!

Back yard is a nice stream n meadow. Across is a multi camp site so it's busy) both close to good flush toilets n running water. Are experience at 8 would have been just great if it wasn't for the heavy wind). 003 is a little more protected. 008 is closer to the lake too so easy walking. Overall I would give this campsite a couple thumbs up we had a good time here and it was a last-minute deal. Some of the higher number sites around the west side are pretty nice . check them out
