We had planned to stay inside Black Canyon National Park but had to switch campgrounds after the big fire this summer. We tent camped here and the site was so nice! Soft grass that was well-kept, and a beautiful view of the valley below. The campground is right off the road so you can hear traffic going by into the evening and night, which was a bummer; the view was slightly less meaningful when listening to the sound of tractor trailers barreling bye. That said, I would stay here again.

We stayed here two nights in Sep, 2025. The grounds were extremely clean and well cared for. The staff was friendly and helpful. Basically, everything you would want in an RV campground. I can't vouch for the cabins but from the outside they looked great too. We would highly recommend.

Owner, Julie is rude. We have always drove past this place and wanted to stay. We finally got the opportunity to stop and it was fairly evident she wasn't interested in potential new clients. All we wanted to do was look and see if our rig would fit. Beautiful views but not that good to put up with a angry, unprofessional owner. Go to Montrose or Gunnison!

Very nice joint! As a tent camper I was hooked up! Being the only ones in tents we had about 2-3 acres to ourselves. The RV sites were well built and plenty of room. Not like some of those filing cabinets I see from the roads And the views, well, just fantastic! Would go back again and again.
