Absolutely love this camp spot! We stayed during the week with 2 dogs and we love how not busy the campground was which gave us more privacy and area to explore without others being there. The bathrooms were clean and even smelled good. We did a short hike to other campgrounds which was about a mile and hung out by the river which was really nice. Highly recommend driving the Eleven Mile Canyon! W... Absolutely love this camp spot! We quite liked this campground. The sunniest spots like 20 and 21 are nearest to the side road so more traffic sounds, but they also appear to be more level than some others. The other campers were quiet and friendly. Hosts were gone due to an emergency, but friendly ranger came every day or so to keep things in good order.

We saw a bear! Amazing campground and great place to spend a few nights. Road noise is a little loud but the open space makes up for it!

This is a great campground, just West of Colorado Springs, next to Lake George. Beautiful views, clean site, and friendly host. Family friendly as well, check it out!!!

Love this campground! The only reason not five stars is the sites are small, and it's tricky finding a flat spot for your tent. But cleanest most welcoming vault toilets I've ever experienced!!! Small campground; really quiet and beautiful for those that aren't "glamping". No RVs. "Primitive camping". Deer roaming the perimeter, and fantastic nightsky viewing with almost no light pollution. We counted three satellites in about thirty minutes on our first night. Lovely trailhead out of camp ground, connecting to neighboring campground and picnic/fishing area. Close to town of Lake George for emergency supplies or fishing stuff, and short drive to Eleven Mile State Park and canyon. Highly recommend! But don't tell anyone, cuz we'd hate for everyone to learn about our secret favorite camping and book it up before we do. We stayed in site #5.
