A nice area that I didn't even know existed. Looks like lots of watersports nearby like boating, paddle boarding, and kayaking. And lots of camp sites around as well, but many are also being built down the road too. I think the area is quickly changing to be a camping haven, but for now, it was nice and peaceful. This campground offers roadside sites, so be aware of that, but we didn't notice much... A nice area that I didn't even know existed. I think the area is quickly changing to be a camping haven, but for now, it was nice and peaceful. This campground offers roadside sites, so be aware of that, but we didn't notice much noise. The bigger issue we experienced though was the wind. The sites are at the top of the ridge so I'm assuming this is a common issue. It got so windy, we weren't able to setup camp. And that's the first time we've ever had an issue with wind with that tent in over a decade. So definitely bring stakes and something rugged. After a few hours, luckily the wind dissipated though, so we setup and had no issues overnight. Talk about a beautiful view in the morning as well, overlooking the lake! They also had primitive toilets there and some sites have picnic tables. I would definitely return, but that wind will be my fear for sure.

We camped at C4, plenty of space for out popup camper and pick up. Nice fire ring and the grate was nice and heavy, if you plan on cooking with this grate bring something with smaller spacing. Not the lake for fishing from the shore. May be a nice spot for cooler temperatures if it is not windy.

Beautiful spot with a gorgeous view of the lake. Our campsite had trash from the previous camper, which was surprising because the rangers drove through ALL THE TIME. Otherwise it was a nice, quiet campground with very few other people.

If you are prepared for the terrain and ANY type of weather, you will enjoy this site... I was amused by the other campers unprepared for calm still air becoming gale force winds... The patio roof is excellent for shade and a hammock, but heavy rain blows sideways and will soak everything... My neighbors slept in the car and pitched their tent into the dumpster in the morning... Lol...
