I love this campground please don’t change it or pave it. I went camping there in August and want to return yearly. It’s so beautiful and well maintained! Please don’t ruin it by paving roads and restrooms etc. I love how a jerk and peaceful and nice this place is.

Campground hosts were awesome! A group took the last FF site while we were trying to pay for it. We ended up at a BLM site and the hosts found us to let us know of a new campsite opening and wanted to offer it to us. Campground had the cleanest vault toilets I’ve ever used. Neither water pump seemed to work at the time but a great experience nonetheless.

It was our first time at this campground and we really liked it. Our site was so private and even moose stopped by. The camp host couple was amazing. I saw them working so hard around. Unfortunately, we could not hike what we planned as trails were still covered with snow (May 25), but had great views over the Cottonwood pass and relaxed in the hot springs nearby. Definitely will return.

We accidently paid to much for our site and the staff notified us and gave us our money back. Much appreciated! 👏🏻 Sites are a good distance apart and the location is nice. Tucked away but not too far of a drive from town. About 20 mins or so to Buena Vista.

Loved this campground! I snagged a first come first serve spot on a Thursday night and camped for 2 nights. I would absolutely come back again. It was developed but really well done with trees between each campground so you felt like you had privacy. I was in a spot right next to the bathroom and it still was gorgeous! I was in a spot right next to the bathroom and it still was gorgeous! My site was #20 right by the river and it was very peaceful and spacious. The camp host was also super friendly and welcoming. Also super convenient to Cottonwood Pass + Buena Vista. The only minus would be lack of clean water but otherwise a great stay. I'd definitely come back.
