Gorgeous location. Overrun by ATV enthusiasts weekend we were there, as the road just beyond the campground quickly turns into 4WD or foot path o er Webster Pass. Hey, they have every right to enjoy the national forest too, but they sure do make a lots of noise doing it. :)

We love this rustic campground, you don't have to book and it doesn't seem to fill up, it's a gem away from the city, a river runs next to it with a beautiful color, our space number 6 is huge we enjoyed it very much, it's a 15 minute dirt road with quite a few potholes but it was worth it.

Gorgeous! Campsites are spread out among the trees by a stream. The camp host is wonderful. He was helpful and conscientious. The road from the highway is shambolic, with huge, water-filled potholes, so proceed with care! No trash service, pump working for water. Bring your own, though, if you are offended by yellowish water. Bear in camp, so be beary careful with food and trash.

Thank you, Craig, for helping my family this weekend after our truck broke down on the trail. We made it home safely. Hope to make it back here again someday.

Need AWD and solid clearance to get through the last mile of the road to the campsite (Aug 2025). Subaru crosstrek did well enough, lower cars wouldn’t make it.
