Great camp site with restrooms, fire pits, and tables. No running water so bring extra. Sites in the loop are scaped out really nicely.

Absolutely gorgeous. Please go during the middle of September! The trees and scenery are to die for. Bathroom lines are long. Also even though you see people parking along through road I would suggest checking for front parking. We parked a mile down the hill and come to find plenty of parking really close to the entrance. It takes you to the same place and you can get amazing panorama shots there.

This is a fantastic place to hike and camp close to Denver. There are 2 pay campsites on either sides of US 285 and there is free dispersed camping along 126 and 126.A. If you are dispersed camping there is no potable water, no trash and no tables. I have camped for free many times in this area and love to head up here for a quick overnight in the mountains here and there. The road to the sites is...
