This lake is beautifully situated in the mountains, and arriving in the evening I had the whole place to myself. Decided to float tube the lake and fish for the Rio Grande cutthroat trout located here, mostly caught tiny fish from my float tube but did catch a couple nicer ones. Check... Worth the drive...can't speak for the fishing but the views are worth it. Trail up here is pretty rough, so 4wd with good clearance is recommended.
