The 1 negative about this park is the traffic on 742! It's incredibly loud and motorcycles use it as a speedway. It's even loud inside the rv with windows closed. Everything else is amazing! There was plenty for us to do over 4 days. Views of the mountains and trees is so beautiful. Cell service was fine despite being in a valley. There was one tight spot coming into the park but overall not bad. We were able to get our 5th wheel in with no problems. The only reason I wouldn't stay here again was the constant road noise. It made it really unpleasant to even sit outside. It was unfortunate because everything else was perfect.

Hosts were amazing. Surrounded by trees, canyon walls and nature. On the other side of the road there is a spectacular river. Excellent for hiking or rafting. No water fill. No dump stations. Closest dump station is about 30 minutes of drive north east of the campground.

Nice beautiful campground located at the bottom of the Famous Dr. Park trail literally across the road. The pit bathroom was immaculate clean. The host was very nice and mostly left me alone. I was in space 22. Some of the nicer spots were on the south end, I think. 24,25,26.

Great campground in Almont, about 20 mins from Crested Butte, and right next to both the Taylor River and where the Doctor Park mountain biking trail ends. You can hear the river flowing from the campground. All sites have electric hookups (and most, maybe all, sites had RVs). The bathrooms were super clean for no flush toilets. No water when we were here. Will definitely stay again!

We LOVE ONE MILE!! It’s always our top pick when we think about camping! The host, Danielle and her son, Josh are so friendly, fun and helpful! Can’t wait for our next visit!!
