Most parks have check-in after 1:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Call ahead if you'll arrive late.

There are two individual campsite here (7 people or under). Both campsites are great. Right outside of a beautiful swampy meadow. You can often see elk and deer in the meadow. The campsite is within range of some easier day hikes. There is a privy here shared by the two campsites.

Fantastic spot. It’s a relatively easy hike to get there from the Holowell Park trailhead, and it’s a quieter part of the park. I had the site on the edge of the meadow, and it was so nice. Numerous elk stopped by throughout the evening, and I had a great time birding in this area as well. The night sky was also so dark and clear. You can hike up the hill across from the campsites for a great view of Longs Peak and the high country

Sheltered, flat and spacious campsite that is close to water and a privy. Off the main trail for privacy and quiet.
