Great spot for large groups. Multiple fire pits with adjustable-height grilling grates in addition to charcoal grill stations, potable water at each site, and vault restrooms near by that were cleaned daily. Hosts are very courteous, informative, and friendly. Campground and sites are in a nice mature pine forest near a big lake, lots of activities nearby. Only complaint is a little background noise: during the day you can hear repetitive gunfire from a nearby range. Doesn't seem like a terribly busy range, just for a few hours in the late morning. At night, in the distance you can hear pretty persistent barking, I'm told from a local sled dog group. Wasn't enough to keep me awake, but it definitely was a mild irritant in an otherwise peaceful location. Overall a lovely spot. Would return. Pack for cold nights! There was frost on our car each morning, even in early August.

This campground was perfect for a large group camping trip! It's close to the beautiful Turquoise Lake and various hiking trails. Plenty of space for a lot of tents. You can hang hammocks as long as you have wide straps so the trees don't get damaged. The camp hosts sell firewood at the campground. There's really nothing bad to say!

It's a great place for a mini family reunion. The campground is very well maintained and clean. Fire pits are good sized and even a separate grilling station for meats. There are no flush toilets, but they are maintained too daily. Large dumpsters around for trash. It was cool while our family was there, one of the private schools had an overnight camping trip for their students there. The caretak... It's a great place for a mini family reunion. Only reason not 5 stars I wish they had sinks to wash hands in restrooms.
