My husband and I were excited to camp here after checking it out (it was very quiet and hardly any campers) one Saturday in September. We decided to come back in October and camp. We decided to come back in October and camp. We got there Thursday. It was completely full by Saturday morning and ridiculously loud with grown adults and noisy kids. We could literally hear people's conversations. If you want a peaceful camping experience this is not the place. The scenery is beautiful, but we left a day early. Maybe a different spot away from the center of the campground would've been a better choice. Not sure we'll ever go back to find out.

We enjoyed this campground very much! We used a “first come-first serve” site toward the back of the campground. The views were incredible! We enjoyed this campground very much! We used a “first come-first serve” site toward the back of the campground. The views were incredible! Red rocks, bluffs, cattle grazing, etc. This was a nice quiet spot during the evenings, however, the only thing we found somewhat frustrating was how much vehicle traffic comes through the campground during the day due to hiking trails behind and around the campground. This made it somewhat difficult for the children to ride bicycles or just walk around. Sites were very affordable. Food rack over the fire place made food prep easier! Overall a great experience and we would come back in the future.

This campsite is excellent! Beautiful scenery. Clean, nicley laid out. Several hikes around and rock climbers. $21.00 a night. Easy touchscreen kiosk with credit card tap and insert. We also used first come, first served. Nice firepit and big sturdy table. Restrooms are clean. Very happy here!

We really enjoyed this campground. Each site had a tent pad. The one for our site was behind some trees in the corner, so we didn't find it until after the first night. There were some cool trails that go up by the cliffs. There was also a pit toilet. The price per night was really reasonable, although you have to book online through recreation.gov
