We stayed 7 nights in Site #6....a pull off site. Our trailer is 29' bumper to tongue and we had plenty of room. There is water available in the campground but not at each site. Tim, the camp host, is a great guy and is very good at what he does. The vault toilets had to be one of the cleanest we've ever utilized! This campground is perfect for those looking to get off the beaten path and away from the crowds. 51 miles from Meeker which is about an hour and a quarter drive! 30 miles on asphalt and 20 on a well maintained dirt road.

The Flattops are an amazing place, and this is a great Basecamp! Walking distance to trails and the lake, amazing views, and the camp hosts were super friendly and kept the restrooms in great shape!

We’ve camped all over North America, and Tim is the greatest Camp host we’ve ever come across. Sites 7 and 8 are incredible. Bring cash for fire wood.

This was our favorite campground during a two week trip. We stayed at 5 different places and this one was far away from everything. Tim and his sweet pup were awesome. Tim checked to ensure all was okay but never overstayed his visits. He was busy the whole time keeping the restrooms, etc very clean. Sad to know fires are nearby. Sure hope these campgrounds aren’t affected.

Beautifully maintained campground which had the roads inexplicably redone by two different counties and the forest service working together to provide a better experience to future campers-is the world coming to an end? Our camp host provided rugs to the potties! Nice-spotless!
