About South Canyon River Access

The South Canyon Recreation Site is a river access and boat launch area for the Colorado River below Glenwood Springs, CO. No camping is allowed at this site. Ample parking is provided, along with a restroom and a concrete boat ramp. Park in the upper parking area and not outside the restroom. This site is closed annually from November 15 - May 15. For more information, please contact the Colorado River Valley Field Office.
