Spent 3 days at the south shore campground. It was quiet and peaceful. The vaulted restrooms needed more attention, but overall an enjoyable stay.

We stayed for 10 days in May. Quiet every day but Saturdays when it fills up, but still very tolerable at capacity. Beautiful setting, stunning sunset and sunrise, good fishing and convenient to town.

Nice for a quick over night camping trip. Staying longer would have been hard with no showers or flush toilets.

Dry, hot, desert like camping. I prefer cold camping, but if you are looking for a lake to swim and fish in. and you dont mind dirt and dry climate- this is a nice place. There's picnic tables, well paved roads, vault toilets, and water access. We felt safe, and the area was taken care of. It's very close to town, but far enough where you don't feel like you're in the middle of it. A walmart is a... Dry, hot, desert like camping.
