Such a great campsite! Beautiful and quiet! It is basic- it doesn't have running water/shower and the road that leads to it is very rough and confusing to navigate but it's easy to overlook all that when you're there and experience encounters with wildlife at all times of the day. *Just don't do what we did!!* We came in exhausted and went to sleep immediately after setting up our tent and buildin... Such a great campsite! Beautiful and quiet! It is basic- it doesn't have running water/shower and the road that leads to it is very rough and confusing to navigate but it's easy to overlook all that when you're there and experience encounters with wildlife at all times of the day. *Just don't do what we did!!* We came in exhausted and went to sleep immediately after setting up our tent and building a fire without reading the rules of the campsite. They have a lot of strict rules (i.e. that fire has to be completely out with no embers when asleep) and you need to follow them carefully in order to avoid getting heat from the campsite's ranger/host. But she was super nice after we were schooled on the rules. Lol Overall, we loved it and hopefully will return someday in the future!

Didn't stay there, but appears well kept. Sites seem flat. Views of Pikes Peak are awesome. Seems to be a fee site. Campground host is parked up front. Sites are average distance apart, which shouldn't be an issue until people bring their generators, dogs, & screaming kids. Only 1 camper there when I passed on a Friday morning, so it was quiet.

Great place to stay. Clean. Well kept. Had room for our 30ft camper. Tons of tent spots. Bathrooms were really clean. Host was outstanding and friendly. You do get some road noise during the day, but wasn’t too bad.

Dude! If I could give this place more stars I would! We spent two weeks chilling at this place on top of the mountain. Towards the weekend we had neighbors but most of the week it was us and the animals. It's a bare bones campground so be prepared to do without luxury! The camp host is awesome and the lady knows her business and her mountain! If I could, I'd never come off the place!

Wonderful host. One of the cleanest and calmest campgrounds we've had the pleasure of staying at. Bonus is having a deer wander through the site in the middle of the day! Definitely worth getting here early to grab a spot, we can't wait to go back!
