I have camped all over Colorado, as a child, with my kids and now with my grandkids. This place is the best and my favorite by far. This place is the best and my favorite by far. From day one Nadine, one of the camp host, went out of her way to be accommodating. She is friendly, professional and knowledgeable of the lake and surrounding areas. She made us feel welcomed and appreciated. The 2nd day we had the pleasure of meeting her husband Mike. Once again, he made us feel welcomed. They both handled a situation with another camper fairly, honestly and extremely professional. They truly care about the lake and campground and take passion in their duties as camp host. Even when it was so crowed and people trying to get by without following rules, the handled it with class. They are exactly what you want in a camp host and more. Thank you Mike and Nadine for exceeding our expectations.

Perhaps because it was chilly and early in the year but ever the less. I will, we will be back. Lots of trees around the sites, clos... First come, first serve set up. Thank you Nadine and Mike for your wonderful hospitality and very clean campground and bathrooms! All the campers stayed respectful of their space and volume and that was nice especially with us having a big group with several kids. We will definitely be returning!

I love this campsite so much! I make it a point to come back every summer at least once. The camp hosts are so sweet and keep it very clean. And the views are everything.
